Contrived tears

Ursa BioScience™ offers contrived tears (artificial tears) for your every need. Our contrived tears have been developed from > 15 components known to be present in tears, balancing protein, salt and pH alike, in line with accepted tear formulations. Our contrived tears are a low cost solution to your diagnostic needs and are sold in 5, 10 and 20 ml volumes. The tear Osmolarity of our normal tears is ≈300 mOsms/L with a pH of 7.4.

Ursa BioScience™ also offers a contrived tear (artificial tears) kit, featuring 6 vials of different tear Osmolarity, for researchers studying disorders such as Dry Eye Syndrome. Our contrived tears have been developed from > 15 components known to be present in tears, balancing protein, salt and pH alike, in line with accepted tear formulations. Our contrived tears kit offers the same tear formulation as our standard tears, but with varying salt concentrations. Our contrived tears are a low cost solution to your diagnostic needs and are sold in 5 ml pre-made volumes of ≈290, 300, 310, 320, 340 and 360 mOsms/L, pH 7.4. Larger volumes are available on special request to info@ursabioscience.com

We also offer sterile contrived tears in 5, 10 and 20 ml volumes, using the identical formulation as our standard contrived tears.
